Personal and Professional Development

For the lipstick, I am thinking f taking picture of the lips, with the lipstick, and the nails of the girl, painted In the same color as the lipstick is. Also I have an Idea to photograph the girls face, with a really strong make up, which is going to look really good on her. The other two were for the slogan “Sleep. It’s what you need. “. First I was thinking of taking picture of a little child, about 8-9 years old, sleeping In Its bed. It was going to be hugging its teddy bear and looks really cute.

Then I was thinking of showing children, playing outside, looking happy and full of energy, because thieve had their sleep the night before. The second idea I had for this slogan was a picture of a woman, sitting on her desk and working really hard. There were going to be many books and document sheets on the desk. Then I was going to show a picture of her at work. She was going to look existed and not able to do any proper work. So I have made 3 mood boards to help me decide which idea to choose. Finally I decided to create a poster, advertising mascara.

It is going to be the “Amiability the Rocket Volume Express”. I am going to take a picture of a girl’s face wearing the mascara. She Is going to wear a lot of make up, so that her eyes can look big and beautiful. Then I am going to edit the picture in Photos. I am going to make her eyelashes look longer and thick. Then I am going to put a picture of the product, next to the girl’s face, and I am going to write some details about it. Also I am going to came up with a slogan for the mascara and put It on top or In the bottom of the poster. I am going to try to put effects on the background.

For example, a picture of a city at night. If it does not look good, I am going to make the background black or white. Secondary Research My secondary research included looking at different mascara adverts. I was also cooking at pictures for my other 2 ideas. I found many examples of them. That research really helped me decide what my print advert Is going to be about. I realized that doing a mascara advert is going to show my photography skills better than making a poster for one of the other two ideas, because I am going to take pictures in the studio.

So I started to look only at mascara adverts, to get more ideas and see how the professional adverts look like. That really helped me to decide what kind of picture to take and how to design the poster. Also It helped me decide what colors to use and what details to write about the mascara. OFF To realism my idea I am going to use the studio to take my pictures. I am going to need a Onions Digital SLURS Camera, to take the pictures. I am not going to use a tripod, because I am going to take big close-up pictures of the girl and I am going to feel handier without using a tripod.

I am also going to need the artificial lights in the studio. That is because I want to make the picture look really strong and effective. To edit my poster, I am going to use mostly Photos. I am most familiar with that computer software, because I have been using it for a long time. Also I might use Illustrator, to create the background. I have not been working whit this software for such a long time, but I feel very confident using it. I am going to need very good photographic skills, because I want my picture to look professional and effective.

I am going to use the artificial lights, so I have to know how to work with them. Also I am going to need proper editing skills, so that my final piece looks professional and eye- catching. Costs I am going to use the studio to take my pictures. It costs в?30 per hour. I am going to need it for two mornings, which is 3 hours per day. So finally, for this time, the studio s going to cost me IEEE. The cost of the camera per day is EYE. I am going to need it for two days so that makes total cost of EYE. Also I am going to need lens for those two days. The lens cost EYE per day, so this is going to cost me EYE.

Totally, all the equipment and the studio are going to cost me IEEE. Legal and ethical issues I am going to need a permission from the model to take pictures of her. I am going to explain her the idea of the images and what I am going to heed her to do. I am also going to ask one of the Level 3 Year Twos to help me in the studio. Image output I am going to set my document for print. That means it is going to be AH sized poster and the resolution is going to be dippy. Thumbnails I would like my image to looks professional and effective. It is going to show the model’s face.

She is going to have really heavy makeup, which is going to makes her eyes come up. She must have beautiful eyes and clear skin. I want the expression on her face to be pensive and sexy at the same time. I would like her to look comfortable, wearing the mascara and feeling beautiful as well. The picture is going to be with a good use of light and contrast. The layout of my picture is going to be off centre, the face of the model is going to e on the left side of the poster. I am choosing it because I think it looks effective and will make my poster looks more professional.

I am going to use the rule of thirds as well, because it is also going to make the picture more professional. To make the picture more effective, I am going to use contrast. On the right side of the poster I am going to put a picture of the mascara. It is going to be clear shown how it looks like and how is it called. The name of the brand is going to be on the bottom or on the top of the advert. It is going to be written the same way as the original one with not ere big, thin letters. The details for the product are going to be also on the right side, around the mascara.

They are going to be clearly visible and written in a simple style of typography, so that it can be readable. Health and Safety To ensure that I use my equipment safely, I am going to be very careful with it. That means that I am going to look out not to drop the camera, or brake it. I am going to wear it around my neck as well. Also I am going to ask a teacher or someone from the Level g’s to explain me how to use the artificial lights properly, so that I don’t break them. Time Planning First I need to do the images for my print advert in the studio. I am going to book it for Friday this week, for the all morning.

On Monday, I am going to choose the photo, that I like the most and that matches with my idea, and start editing it. If I don’t like enough any of the pictures I am going to book the studio for the next morning, Tuesday, and do more pictures. If that happens I am going to have only Wednesday to edit the all advert. That is the only problem that might came up. I am going to start the editing first by improve the makeup on the girl. I am going to open the picture that I have chosen in Photos. Then I am going to use the Brush Tool to make the eyelashes longer.

I am also going to clear the skin. Then I am going to select the lips with the Lasso Tool and improve the color. Then I am going to create a background in Illustrator and open it in Photos. After that I am going to place the image over the background. Then I am going to place the picture of the mascara on the right side of the poster. After I do that, I am going to write the mane of the brand. Then I am going to write the information about the product and choose a proper color for it. The last thing I am going to do is put some effects on the poster, so that t could look better.

While I am doing all these stuff, I am going to take screen shots of every important step. Then I am going to use the corrections to create a Powering presentation that shows the making of my print advert. I am going to explain the technical decisions that I have made during the process. On Thursday afternoon, I am going to print and mount my final piece and then present it in front of the class. I am going to explain the production process, the technical qualities. Then I am going to compare the final piece with my original plans and explain what matched and what did not.
