I have learned so much in this personal finance class. I learned so many ways to save money and how credit cards aren’t so bad, and if you know how to use them you can actually gain while building a good credit history. Some of the things I already knew as far as saving and budgeting but some things where completely new to me, things that have never crossed my mind like 401 k plans and Roth AIR plans. After what I have learned I plan to start cutting back more, even if it’s Just doing my own hair and nails from time to time or eating in rather than going out.
I plan to pay off at least half of the items on my credit report by the end of this year, stating with the items holding the highest interest rates. I plan to start up an Roth AIR so I won’t have to worry when I ready to retire. I also plan to open up a education account for my 8 year old child’s college so he won’t have to worry. I will be sure to choose an account which will draw interest! These are Just a few things I have learned from Ms. Dame wonderful “Essentials of Personal Finance” class, I can honestly say this course has changed my life for the better!
