I was able to gather a lot of information from my step ad about the alms and objectives and how they will Improve to have an even better purpose. On the other hand for my local business I have chosen Kent drawing as my Granddad owns the company and I can gather as much about the small business as I can and I am able to access personal information about them. Kent drawing is a family business, choosing Kent drawing was a good option as I can get information of their website and I can visit during certain hours a week. During our half term I was able to visit them and ask questions.
Both Tests and Kent drawing had very different purposes and ownership. I thought they would be two good businesses to compare. Research I organized my research into an action plan so I would know what I still had to do and to keep track of what I had done. I have phone and sent a letter to both my businesses and have visited Kent drawing. For extra information about Tests I was able to ask my step dad about what I was unable to gather. Using the internet and a range of websites I was able to gather over 10 pages of research.
Are the aims and objectives met? TESTES aims and objective are currently being met however they have taken a down fall because they had a bad year in 2012 as they were accused of using horse meat in their burgers. Ethics: Tests is ethical because they do trading fairly programmer which is a core element of their promise to buy and sell their products responsibly and exists so their customers can know that everything they but is produced under decent conditions and that everyone involved is treated fairly.

K- The charity said Deco’s support was “crucial” and the money would ensure people could enjoy wildlife and nature across Wales. To compare prices with other leading supermarkets- lately, leading supermarkets Tests and Kingsbury have been competing to maximize sales because Sunburst’s argued it was unfair to compare own-brand items on price alone and not take account of provenance and other ethical issues.
Reflection: I personally think that I did choose the right businesses for this subject as I visited a multiple of them. As a school trip we visited west field for the day, while we were here it gave me a chance to pick up more research on businesses. I have gathered more information about Deco’s and Kent drawing. I have visited Kent drawing and gathered a lot of information over the past few weeks, doing this I improved my work. When I wrote a letter to Deco’s and Kent drawing I got a reply back from both.
My Kent drawing letter had information on how they wanted to improve and expand their business. They sad doing this would improve a lot upon their business. However my reply back from Deco’s contained more information I wasn’t able to access on their PL website. For my time in this assessment I reasonably think I have used my time well, and set out my layout well. My writing and main subtitles are clear and my text is understandable.
When I was gathering my research I work alone and have also saved documents on both businesses. In the end I was able to solve most of the problems that I have had with my work, doing this I believe I have pushed myself to try to do my best however I believe I could do better and include more information. My action plan is set out and I have been updating it as the same with my personal organization. I also think that my work is suitable for the businesses I chose.
