Human growth and development has captivated my attention since my first Human Anatomy and Physiology class my sophomore year In High School. I studied, researched and dissected every Inch of the human body. I analyzed every component of the human pregnancy and studied each one extensively; this inspired me greatly to go into the Obstetrics and Genealogy field. I learned the functions and the purposes the complex body withholds; without it the world would be nothing. The research and study of the human body will always be a significant interest that features my attention; the medical field is my final destination.

Obstetrics and Genealogy play a crucial role In determining what the next generation will hold, and, because of this, my research and study will remain In this field of study. In biological terms, the primary function of the human body is to replicate itself, and the sexual and parental instincts are among the strongest of our basic drives. As science widens the gap between sex and reproduction, we can choose more ways of having one without the other. These developments, along with the contrasts between the rotational cultures and progressive societies, have multiplied the ethical issues surrounding sex and pregnancy.

However, the realities of sexually transmitted diseases, malignancies of the reproductive organs, complex pregnancy issues, and inherited disorders continue to disrupt our daily lives. Considering the aforementioned, transforming a single fertilized cell into a human infant is one of the most extraordinary processes in modern biology. With cells spatially combining together forming a living, breathing human is phenomenal; even today with our comprehension of cell biology advancing on a dally basis, many of the complex mechanisms that govern embryonic growth and human development remain enigmatic, but promising for further research and study.

I want to engage in the research and study of human growth and development, because it is the epitome of all life. Human growth and development is one of the most crucial fields of study today. The pressure of bringing a life into the world, the pressure of keeping the life intact, and how the medical professionals accomplish this Intrigues me. Obstetricians and Gynecologist must be able to shift their prolepses and make quick judgments at any given moment. Obstetricians and Gynecologist also encounter a wide variety of diverse patients and families with varying needs and expectations; they must fulfill each and every necessity. The formal study of human growth and development has over 300 years of history. Humans are fascinated by humanity and one of the aspects of humanity is the change In shape, form, and function from a baby to a fully formed and functional adult. To be successful In the human growth and development field you must be culturally aware and open-minded.

Medical doctors must be passionate about their careers, both in order to be effective, and in order to justify the time and expense involved with reaching their goals. I have chosen to pursue my dreams in Obstetrics and Genealogy because, for me, it embodies the best of every field of medicine, from menarche to senility and from preventive care to radical reconstructive surgery. The Obstetrics and Genealogy existent routines. The specialty often involves lengthy days in a very erratic environment. Labors cannot be planned; ergo, births can happen all throughout the night.

Obstetricians and Gynecologist must have quick and easy range to the patient and hospital where they can perform late night deliveries and cesarean sections. You can most certainly conclude the Obstetrics field is an adrenaline rush! Even though Obstetricians are the most frequently sued doctors and their settlements can exceed one million dollars, I want to continue researching, studying and taking part in ameliorating the Obstetrics field. I want to continue putting emphasis on providing safe care and delivering healthier babies.

Gynecologist study and perform surgeries on the female reproductive organs. Hence the reason Obstetrics and Genealogy go hand-in-hand. Many Obstetricians and Gynecologist combine majors in order to provide care for the pregnant and non-pregnant state of a woman, perform deliveries and surgeries. I have taken several human growth and development classes, such as Child Life Development, Family and Consumer Science, Medical Diagnostics, Human Anatomy ND Physiology, and Biology I and II, to enlighten my sense of readiness on the subject.

I have studied the cycle in which the embryo is developed into a fetus up until birth. I am significantly interested in human growth and development and my main focus will be Obstetrics and Genealogy. I am going to double major in Science with an Obstetrics and Genealogy doctorate. I want to develop the satisfaction of knowing I brought a life into the world, ensure women’s health continues, and our country prolongs the growth in population with more healthy, well delivered children.
